Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comic and actor is well known for her role in the role of a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live.' Her career began in theatre however, she found herself fascinated by comedy after having taken an improv training course when she was nine years old. She initially wanted to be an actress but soon realized that she had an aptitude for comedy. So her career focus moved from acting to the improv. She started her career aboard cruise ships along with fellow members of Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago and other improv troupes. Strong has performed in popular events, such as Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. Also, Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female Improv group. The actress became a household name in 2012 when she was featured as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" in the season 39. She was a guest cast member anchoring Weekend Update with Seth Meyers initially, as well as Colin Jost later. One of the most significant moments for Cecily during the series was in the episode "The Girl You Wish You Never had a conversation with at a Social Event'.
