Hayley is an American actress and singer. One of her most well-known characters can be Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," an American comedy show. Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. Since she was 9 years older, she started playing around with music. At the age of 12 her music began to take on a serious nature and she began professional training. At 13, she began writing songs. She recorded her debut album in the age of 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia was born in the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic origins. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, even though she was raised using English only and never lived in Mexico. She endeavours to preserve it by becoming fluent in Spanish and writing songs in the Spanish language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she recorded in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen from a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" no votes by judges in the live audition stage held in Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was in the show "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. Three female singers along with her were brought together for auditions of for the remaining tracks. The live performances were held in the fifth week.
