Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. Coleman was head of the class of Arnold School, Blackpool and received straight A's in her A levels. While discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman acknowledged regrets that she did not go to university. Coleman was a part of a theatre company, In Yer Space while in school. The company performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. It also received a positive reception. She was awarded with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman was trying to get into drama schools in 2005, got Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was awarded two awards in 2007. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the most promising newcomer and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. In 2009 she won nominations in two categories including Best Actress-Sexiest Female as well as Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman received an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman, who had replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor following Arthur Darvill left the series and was to play the role alongside Matt Smith. Moffat selected her for the role as she performed most effectively with Smith and was able to talk more quickly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her career has been in the industry of entertainment since 1987. But, she's more known for TV projects as opposed to films. Eva has had many TV roles, but her roles as Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. She was nominated for the two "Daytime Emmys" for her first part, and she also had an opportunity to explore the musical side of her. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva is married three times who has a daughter from her second partner.
