Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. Then, in 1956 she got her first big break with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The same year, She made her debut album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise debuted in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. During this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career, balancing Broadway television with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
