Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook writer who has won Emmy awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. It will air for another 27 years. Ina started her career as a writer in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy reports. Though she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. Then she bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. There were many more cookbooks, and magazines columns that came later. A different hit was her Food Network Television show. The range of products includes cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina was never to any cooking academy and has never worked in restaurants. She's completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual style of creating and entertaining.
