Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer and animal rights activist. Ali MacGraw is famous for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. When she was in New York, she was born into an artistic family. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being an aspiring young actress. MacGraw was a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. With just three movies MacGraw became the most popular female box office star worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
